The Indiana Prayer Group is a nonprofit Bilingual (French/English) interdenominational evangelical Christian association founded in 2009 in Indianapolis, Indiana by Pastor/Evangelist Jean-Pierre Priso. The I.P.G. was originally organized under the name Indiana Christian Ministry (I.C.M.). After a few years if ministry the Lord further clarified and redirected the vision by increasing the burden to focus and pray to win souls for Christ.
The primary activities of I.P.G. are
- Evangelizing communities and winning souls for Jesus Christ
- Bringing Christians together to pray for divine intervention for:
- Ourselves, our families, and other believers
- Our respective countries of origin
- The state of Indiana, the United States of America, and local and federal authorities
- Our businesses
- Those who have not yet accepted Jesus Christ
I.P.G. is not a church.
We are a group of believers from different evangelical Christian backgrounds who come together to pray. We meet monthly in a house or other location and during these sessions we sing hymns, read scripture and have thoughtful discussion to support and bring about the burden to pray.
Additional benefits of I.P.G:
~ We devote time for testimonies from members to rejoice in what our God is doing in the community.
~ Although we are not a church, we break bread according to the Bible (1 Corinthians 11:24)
~ We collect voluntary offerings to facilitate group agenda and address needs in the community.
~ We have guest speakers to exhort us in prayer and evangelize.
~ We also support one another in different aspects of life.
~ We work in collaboration with churches in that when we bring souls to Christ during our sessions, we connect people with a bible-based church.
~ We have a WhatsApp group for all registered members, that will be a forum to provide up-to-date communication.
